The UAE has finally been placed on the UK’s Amber list allowing travel to the UK without the need to Quarantine in government mandated hotel for 10 days. Travels will still need to follow the amber list rules which can be found on the UK Government Official Website.
The news comes as a boost to Airlines and Travel association who have been campaigning for the change for some time. Especially because the UAE is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world with over 79% of population vaccinated. The change will take effect from the 8th August 2021 and will no doubt lead to flurry of last-minute travel bookings.
The UK Government also moved India and France from the Red to Amber list and Germany, Austria and Slovenia to the green list.
