In line with the commitment to continuously expand strategic partnerships, Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance PSC. H.E. Eng. Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General of AFZ, and H.E. Abdulla Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Insurance and Reinsurance, inked the agreement in a ceremony attended by several officials from both sides.
The MoU reflects the free zone’s approach to grow its offered value-added solutions and build a unified platform for investors and companies to have easy access to various service providers. Through this platform, investors and businesses in the free zone can quickly apply for licensing, visa, insurance, and many others at more competitive rates. AFZ has already established a wide network of partnerships from the government and private sectors to make these services available to its business community.
H.E. Eng. Ali AlSuwaidi said that the latest MoU focuses on offering comprehensive insurance solutions, which are an essential part of human resources functions and the operations of any business establishment. Al Suwaidi explained that the agreement is a testament to the AFZ’s resolve to provide its business partners with the needed support to help them comply with the regulations and enable them to focus on their growth and expansion plans.
“Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance is a prominent player in its sector. Our MoU is the latest in our string of partnerships forged to raise the competitiveness of our services and attract more companies and investors to AFZ and Ajman. Through this strategic direction, we seek to demonstrate how we can contribute to our business partners’ growth by expanding the scope of our facilities and incentives and making the free zone a leading incubator for businesses and investments. We are delighted with this new agreement, and we will continue to join forces with more relevant entities from across industries to sustain an optimal business and trade environment within AFZ and attract more regional and international investments. We can support the sustainable development and diversification of the economies of Ajman and the UAE through this commitment,” said AlSuwaidi.
Commenting on the agreement, Al Nuaimi remarked: “This strategic partnership enables us to support the commendable efforts of Ajman Free Zone in its commitment in providing exceptional value added protection to its investors, business entities and individuals. DNI’s wide product offering has a clear focus on providing powerful and tailor-made insurance solutions based on a comprehensive understanding of our customers’ protection needs. We look forward to working hand in hand with Ajman Free Zone in attaining sustainable relationship built upon trust and confidence to amplify success.”
The agreement is the latest in AFZ’s string of partnerships with government and private sector entities and service providers. It is in step with the free zone’s goals to build a more competitive and attractive business system, offer innovative and integrated services and facilities, and widen its network of partnerships to facilitate and accelerate the process of establishing and doing business within its community.
