VIVA Bahrain, was the platinum sponsor of the 9th Bahrain International eGovernment Forum that took place between October 7th – 8th 2018. This event sponsorship was in line with VIVA’s commitment towards achieving the digital transformation vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain in collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA).
The prestigious event, held Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communications Technology, encourages the adoption of innovations, exchange of successful experiences in digital transformation of the Kingdom of Bahrain amongst experts and specialists from across the globe.
VIVA announced the launch of VIVA Cyber Security Services; supporting the government’s Cyber Security and privacy initiative as part of threat management and protecting the Kingdom of Bahrain Government authorities and businesses from cyber-attacks and threats; in addition to the efforts to drive technological advancements and its key role in making services available to all to the Kingdom’s business landscape, by investing heavily in managed security services, in addition to the connectivity ecosystems, IoT, and broadband access technologies.
VIVA highlighted its portfolio and capabilities of Cyber Security services with the launch of its VIVA Security Operations Center (SOC), the first in the Kingdom to provide Managed Security Services (MSS) for businesses which is supported by a 24/7 SOC team of cyber security experts. During the event, VIVA Security experts emphasised on the importance of latest trends in cyber security and threats faced currently by businesses today.
